This one is reminiscent of one of last year’s gifts (find it here) in that it is an essential oil car diffuser. This year I thought we’d make a cute one in the shape of a wreath! You can gift this with a little jar (or full jar) of an essential oil. Once hung in the car, the oils can be put on both the felt or wooden beads to diffuse throughout the car. Let’s get started.

I never know what to title these blog posts when I update you on what I am using my essential oils for. Kinda liked this one .. as if I was telling you a story. As per my usual disclaimer when I’m taking about oils. I use Young Living Oils because I was introduced to them first and I do not sell them I just use them. If you are interested in buying them I can refer you to someone and that is all.
*Disclaimer: I do not sell essential oils, I used them and share what I use them for but for anyone interested in buying them I suggest you go to Nesting Well and sign up with Brooke. When starting out with oils you will most likely start with oils and a diffuser. As you get more into the use of essential oils, you will find that there are some accessories that go into all the DIY potions you can make. I broke them down into two categories “Beginner” and “Intermediate”. I don’t have an “Advanced” category because I still consider...

I was actually introduced to Essential Oils quite a long time ago, years even. I have used them a tad here and there but nothing too serious. However, after following Nesting with Grace’s new account Nesting Well (all about how she uses essential oils) I kinda of felt pushed to really give them a go now. One of the main reasons I have...
We are kicking off 2021’s 10 Days of DIY Christmas Gifts with a invigorating one! If you’ve followed me for any length of time or saw my DIY gifts last year, you know I enjoy using essential oils to create gifts. Today’s gift is a refreshing Eucalyptus Foot Soak that I’ll be gifting my gym friends – I’m sure their feet will appreciate it after runs, mountain climbers and burpees.
If you haven’t seen the full bathroom reveal GO HERE to check it out! I’m so pleased with the way everything turned out. I just needed to add a few more simple touches. One of the things I have been eyeballing is the soap jars and labels that are all over instagram. The DIYer in me just cant bring myself to spend $30 (per bottle) on them. So I found a way to do it myself.
Since my Halloween garland is STILL hanging on my menu board and we are swiftly approaching February I thought I’d come up with a new little series. Each month I’m going to create a fun little DIY garland to put up there. Force me to take down the old and put up the new. Since we are starting in February, what is more fitting than a Valentines Day garland?
Our final day! Our final gift. I actually almost didn’t share this one because you have to order some stuff to make it. You most likely wont have these ingredients on hand. Then I thought this would be a great gift for friends that have started a more natural “clean” lifestyle, friends with allergies or your fellow “oily” friends.
Sometimes when I’m really stressed or tense I HAVE to take a bath just to relax my shoulders and muscles. I’ve often just thrown some oils in the bath to help but I think that salts are a great way to make it a gift! This recipe is super simple, can be packaged in so many different ways and is versatile for all your lady friends (I guess and men too).
