Sebastian’s room was a hybrid of baby nursery and semi-big boy. I wanted to do a full refresh to give him a room that he would love, that no longer included woodland animals! He’s always loved space, rockets, planets, etc … then I had a vision of a black ceiling! That was it, I had to do it!

Leading up to this Easter (2020 Easter during the COVID Pandemic) everything feels a little different. I’ve been trying to do my best at keeping the kids entertained while we are home all day everyday. I decided the whole week leading up to Easter Sunday we would do an Easter craft a day! While Easter is done and over with now, I still wanted to put this together so that maybe next Easter I (or anyone) can be reminded of these.

One of the things I have been eyeballing is the soap jars and labels that are all over instagram. The DIYer in me just cant bring myself to spend $30 (per bottle) on them. So I found a way to do it myself.

It’s done! (almost, ha!) We do still have to install a glass shower door but that is going to be in time. We don’t currently use this shower and we needed a little break from renovation and work being done at the house so we will install it soon.

Since my Halloween garland is STILL hanging on my menu board and we are swiftly approaching February I thought I’d come up with a new little series. Each month I’m going to create a fun little DIY garland to put up there. Force me to take down the old and put up the new.
