I was recently searching Pinterest for anything to help me get Madeline to sleep through the night. (I think I finally figured it out – praise the lord). I came upon a few posts about a Lavender Linen Spray and decided to put one together myself.
*Disclaimer: I am not an expert and I do not sell essential oils. I know that oils used in/on/around children should be diluted. I am not spraying this directly on her crib sheet. I’m spraying on the carpet around the crib and chair I rock her in.
Not only did I think it would help with her sleeping I thought it would be great to freshening a guest room before their arrival, spritzing our own bed in between sheet changes, brought to hotels, etc.
I bought this variety pack of amber glass spray bottles and the Witch Hazel from Amazon. Always use glass to store anything containing essential oils. Following the recipe below, I put the Lavender Oil and Witch Hazel in first and shook together. I then filled with water … and you’re done!
