Another week, another 5am DIY. What is a 5am DIY? Well its the only time of day I can start and finish a DIY – because the kids are still sleeping and the day hasn’t started in full swing yet. They are usually smaller, cheaper and easy to do.
This week’s is some fun little halloween signs that I made for $1 each! I guess unless you count the paper I used to print the art on.
I bought these little canvases from the dollar tree in sizes 4×6, 5×7 and 6×8.
I removed the canvas part so that all I am left with is the wooden frame. From here you can decide to keep them raw wood, stain them or paint them. I kept two raw and painted one black – mainly because one of the frames had a more yellowy wood than I liked.
Now, print out some cute halloween art from the internet. You can google image search, Pinterest search or download the ones I used free!
Cut them out, and glue them to the back of the frame. Thats it! Quick, easy, and turned out oh so cute.
