As part of my “clean up” week I thought I’d share a few organization and storage tips that could seem a bit unexpected ..
#1
Wine Rack turned Towel Rack – I had been looking for a towel rack to hang on the wall above the toilet in our smaller bathroom. I could never find anything either small enough or that didn’t have a bunch of other shelves and hooks with it. A quick scroll through Pinterest and the idea struck to use a wine rack!

Recipe Box to hold those Dip Packets – When organizing our pantry I was trying to find a way to store our taco seasoning, dressing packets, yeast packets, etc. I happened to have an unused recipe box in the pantry as well. Ta-da! Perfect fit.
***also, mason jars make great storage in the pantry for things you don’t want in those plastic bags

Glass Water Bottles – Here in Florida we don’t drink water out of the tap, especially if you have well water. Therefore, we usually result in plastic water bottles. After going to Italy and having a large glass water bottle of cool water brought to the table with each meal, I was hooked. I bought these and fill them up and keep them in the fridge. When it’s dinner time, I just bring one to the table for all to enjoy.
#4
Wall File Rack for Kids – I use a wall filling rack near my kids craft table to hold coloring books, activity books, paper, etc. I put it on the wall low enough they can get the stuff in and out themselves – the more stuff they can do themselves the better independence they can develop

Cardboard Boxes covered in Fabric – I just showed this one in my closet refresh. Great for when you need larger storage options or custom color storage options. Just take a cardboard box and cover in fabric using a glue gun!
Those are just a few I had around the house. I’ll keep this post updated though as I find more!
