Christmas Recipe Board – 10 Days of DIY Christmas Gifts
December 2, 2021This gift would be fun for almost anyone that loves to bake or host. It also could be turned into a very sentimental gift if you use a family recipe. I found my recipe artwork on Etsy, it actually included ten recipes and only cost $6 to download! Etsy is really such a great place to find unique things.
I originally wanted to use the white cutting boards you can find at the Dollar Tree but I could not find them. There are so many cool DIYs you can do with them so they are usually a hot commodity! I found these boards on Amazon that come in a pack of three and thought they would work well.
As I mentioned before I found these great recipe designs on Etsy – linked here.
I sized them to be 5×7 and printed on regular printer paper. I affixed them to the boards with Modge Podge and let dry completely.
Once they were dry I attached a cute clear ornament (from the dollar tree – notice a trend here?) filled with sprinkles and a gingerbread cookie cutter.
You could always go the extra mile and actually make the recipe you choose to give along with the gift. However, I have five more gifts to create so I’m going to leave the baking to the one who receives the gift!
If you make these recipe boards … Tag me! I’d love to see!
