Today’s DIY Christmas gift is for the kids! Most of the supplies I found to fill the kits were at the Dollar Tree, including the boxes I put them in too! These would be great to give to a preschool class (where there are only about 10 kids) or to neighbors and friends.
While this one was Christmas focused you can always make them just a generic craft kit with regular colored items. I went with the red, white and green for Christmas.
After scouring the craft isle I came up with these items to include in the craft kit:
- Googley Eyes
- Plain Pom Pom Balls
- Sparkly Pom Pom Balls
- Washi Tape
- Colored Popsicle Sticks
- Colored Pipe Cleaners
- Glue – don’t skimp on this one – Dollar Store glue does not work, spring for Elmers
I went ahead and cut out some Christmas figures from my Cricut (snowman, snowflake, reindeer, tree). If you don’t have a Cricut you can also just add some festive colored construction paper or these cut outs from Amazon.
I also went ahead and created a fun label to put on the kit. You can download them for free below, print them on any label paper and cut out.
Then let the kids creativity flow!
