Back when I wrote about my 2020 Design Projects I shared a few different inspiration boards for a couple different rooms in the house. One was the Laundry Room … which we are ALMOST done with .. just 15 more tiles to paint! Another room though was my office!

When I heard about the One Room Challenge I thought this would be a great project to tackle along with my other design peers for this fun opportunity and also give me the push to get it started and most of all FINISHED.

The One Room Challenge lasts eight weeks – so each week I’ll be working on a project for my office and sharing it here on the blog and on instagram. Be sure to check back every Thursday to see the progress.

Lets start with that inspiration board and go over what I plan to do the next eight weeks.

I’m really wanting to make the space more of a cozy creative space than a craft room (which is basically is now). I’m wanting some dark moody-ness but with pops of color. Some of the ideas I have in mind are:

• Chalk Paint Book Case
• Unconventional Mood Board
• Vertical Black Shiplap
• DIY Storage Solutions
• New Lighting
• Picture Ledge / Art
• DIY Details – leather handle pulls

So please, follow along with me for the next eight weeks as I transform my current craft room to a cozy office oasis. Now, what would this transformation be without before and after pictures??
