Last year we did a full on homemade play dough sensory kit – this year I wanted to do something similar because there were such a great hit. I decided to make a little more condensed version of them and did Sensory Jars.
Luckily I had tons of trinkets left over from last year so shopping for this one wasn’t too hard. However, if you’re starting from scratch, check out places like: Dollar Store, Target Dollar Spot, Hobby Lobby or Michaels.
I included things such as: bells, wooden stars, little bottle brush trees, christmas erasers, mini candy cane ornaments, etc.

I used these jars off of amazon and it made for a perfect little package of fun. Also, easy for on the go … perhaps to play with at a restaurant, on a plane or anywhere little ones have to “wait”.
