Sebastian and Madeline had a friend over to swim this week and I wanted to have a fun snack for them. Of course, after perusing Pinterest for five minutes I went down a rabbit hole of Charcuterie Boards! Traditionally these are made up of meats and cheeses but there are so many fun ideas that I found I had to make one of my own.

I went with things that I knew my kids liked, things that were refreshing (it was a pool party after all), things that were colorful (hello kids .. and instagram aesthetic), and added at least one sweet treat.

Sebastian is almost three and has really started to love playing games and doing puzzles. We stumbled upon a matching game at Home Goods and I have since been on the look out for games that he can play / understand at his age. Its been a great way to spend some one on one time with him. I’ve listed below a few that we have found, how he’s doing with them and what they are helping with in the learning department.

My first official participation in the One Room Challenge has come to a conclusion. My office is complete … for now. While working on the One Room Challenge for my office, I wanted to add a little spice (and function) to the bottom half of my storage unit. My storage unit is actually a dresser with two, six cube pieces set on top. The dresser portion does not have any handles, just a slanted top lip to pull open. I’ve seen people use leather to make pulls before so I searched amazon and found a light leather that was almost pink, perfect for this space. One Room Challenge – weeks 5 & 6

I really wish I was further along in the process than I am. I am a procrastinator though, I know this about myself. I will get it done, but it will be at the last minute. Something I’m trying to be better about … it all takes time.
